Myles Frost Takes Us Behind the Scenes at Hulaween

Myles Frost selected a well-known inspiration for his Hulaween costume: Michael Jackson.
On Friday evening, Frost revisited his Tony-winning lead position within the Broadway manufacturing of “MJ the Musical” for Bette Midler’s annual Hulaween costume profit. Frost, who hosted the night’s festivities, donned a customized look designed by Timmy Ajulo and impressed by Jackson’s iconic pink leather-based “Thriller” outfit. He paired the look with pink contact lenses and a black T-shirt that donned his personal initials: “MF.”
Held at South Road Seaport, the night honored Clive Davis, Krystyna M. Blakeslee and Bruce Bozzi, and featured a fancy dress contest judged by Broadway producer Jordan Roth. Reside performances by Dionne Warwick and Chloe Bailey closed out the night.
In complete, the gala occasion raised greater than $2 million for New York Restoration Venture, which was based by Midler in 1995 to guard and supply help for New York Metropolis’s inexperienced areas.
Right here, Frost — who will subsequent be seen in Ava DuVernay’s upcoming movie “Origin,” out in December — takes us behind-the-scenes at Hulaween.
